Book review of NO SAFE HARBOUR

This book is by Julie Lawson.

I love this book that is part of the Dear Canada series. It's about a girl's hardships in the time of the Halifax explosion. The girl's name is Charlotte Blackburn. She has two brothers and two sisters and a mom and a dad.

The Halifax explosion was caused by two ships crashing into each other. It killed more then a thousand people in Halifax and many thousand were injured and homeless. Charlotte's two sisters and mom and dad were killed. Her oldest brother was away fighting in world war one 1 and she is searching for her twin brother Duncan.

I love the book and I think you should read it too.

harrison hot spring's

The week before i went camping we went to a cabin in harrison hot spring's.We went with my grandma and grandad and my uncle,aunt and my cousin.We were there for 4 day's.We went in the pool every day all day.There was a buffet and we went to it every day it had really good food.My grandma made game's and race's for us and we competed in our own Olympic's.

I came back from camping yesterday.We went to sunshine coast to camp.We went with another family.We to the beach with them.They have ramp's at the camp so we ride are bike's on them.My favourite part was the banana boat's and cinnamon apple's.The part i don't like is the out house's.
